It was always going to be a big occasion for Harry Maguire, facing his old club Leicester City for Manchester United.
As an £80million signing, a world record for a defender, his move from the King Power Stadium to Old Trafford came with a huge amount of attention and prompted speculation about whether he was worth the money.
Garth Crooks lauding the player while questioning the Foxes' fans abuse of him.
"Maguire not only seemed to enjoy playing against the players he once called his team-mates but hardly gave them a kick," he said.
"Why Leicester fans felt the need to boo their former player having given them wonderful service and made them a vast sum of money by agreeing to be sold to Manchester United makes you wonder what was it about the move that actually upset them!”
"I'm really happy and not just because it was against my old team and the pressure of the game and the people talking about the battles during the game. It was just really important that we got the three points."
