Ole Gunnar Solskjaer left Manchester United fans in hysterics after being caught giving Jose Mourinho a patronising pat on the head at the end of Wednesday's 2-1 victory over Tottenham.

Marcus Rashford scored either side of Dele Alli's goal to ensure Mourinho left empty handed on his first return to Old Trafford since being sacked by the club last December.
Solskjaer, the man who replaced Mourinho at the helm, shook his opposite number's hand at the final whistle after ending his perfect start in charge of Tottenham and couldn't resist patting him on the head.

The moment did not go unnoticed with United fans, who took to social media in their numbers to poke fun at their former manager's expense.
One fan wrote: 'Never thought I'd see the day Ole would take Mourinho's job and then pat his head like a puppy after beating him.'
While another added: 'Huge fan of Jose, but this pat is just perfect from Ole.'
