Manchester United fans have taken to social media to share their views after Luke Shaw hinted at two potential new arrivals at the club this summer.

Shaw is currently on international duty with England as Gareth Southgate's side prepare to face North Macedonia in a EURO qualifier on Monday.

The United star started in Friday's clash with Malta at the Ta' Qali National Stadium, before being replaced by Tyrone Mings on the hour mark as a Trent Alexander-Arnold-inspired England cruised to victory.

Mason Mount remains a top target for Erik ten Hag this summer, with the club still interested in signing the Chelsea star despite having their first offer for the midfielder rebuffed.

However, while negotiations to bring one England international to Old Trafford remain ongoing, Shaw was quick to hint at two further new arrivals as they toured the club's training facilities on international duty.

In a post on his Instagram story, shared pictures of himself beside Harry Kane and Declan Rice, cheekily accompanying the photos with the caption 'Carrington tour' and an eyes emoji.

United have previously shown an interest in signing both Kane and Rice, with the pair looking set to leave their respective sides this summer after their clubs endured disappointing seasons domestically last term.

The club are joined by Man City, Arsenal and Chelsea in their pursuit of the £100million-rated 24-year-old, with Rice's stock currently at an all-time high after leading the Hammers to victory in the Conference League final last week.

Meanwhile Kane's future remains uncertain after Spurs missed out on European football despite him notching 30 Premier League goals.

In response to full-back's transfer-hunting antics, one United fan on Twitter dubbed him 'Agent Shaw.'

Another showed their faith in Shaw's persuasive abilities, writing: 'Our next season depends on you, Luke.'

However not all United fans were hopeful that Shaw would be able to convince his England teammates to join the club with one user writing: 'Nah this is evil man he knows they ain’t coming'.

One fan referenced Cristiano Ronaldo's explosive interview with Piers Morgan that led to the Portugal star departing the club last year in which he claimed United's training facilities were substandard.

'Don't show them the gym Ronaldo complained about.'
