Man Utd fans question why Solskjaer is wearing a bib during PSG clash

The sight of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the dug-out wearing a bib caught the attention of fans during Wednesday's dramatic showdown in Paris.

The Norwegian famously came on as a substitute to score the winner in the 1999 Champions League final triumph over Bayern Munich.

And supporters were wondering if Solskjaer was ready to make a comeback as injury-hit United chased another memorable comeback against Paris St Germain.

One fan tweeted: 'Solskjaer is wearing a bib and has a full kit on underneath in case he needs to sub himself on to score a late goal.'

Another added: 'Our injuries are so bad that Solskjaer's sporting a substitute bib.'

However, the Norwegian was reportedly asked to put the gold bib over his black coat by officials as UEFA thought his top clashed with PSG  colours.

Solskjaer had the golden touch again as Marcus Rashford scored late on from the penalty spot to seal a 3-1 win and send United through on away goals.
