Tottenham news: Three Manchester United stars have been pictured back in training seven days out from their potentially top-four deciding clash against Spurs
Erik ten Hag has been handed a major injury boost with star forward Marcus Rashford among the names back in Manchester United training on Tuesday.
Scott McTominay and Luke Shaw also suffered fresh injuries at the start of the month as the hectic schedule, with United still fighting for three competitions, appearing to catch up to ten Hag's men. Marcel Sabitzer, who scored both Europa League first leg quarter-final goals, was then also plagued by an issue that saw him drop out of the starting XI to face Forest on Sunday.
On a positive note, United had just welcomed back former Tottenham star Christian Eriksen from his long-term injury and thus he slotted straight into midfield in place of Sabitzer. The Danish midfielder played 79 minutes and showed no sign of any fitness problems and now United have been handed more positive updates on the injury front.
As picked up by Sky Sports cameras, via Football Daily, Rashford, Sabitzer and Shaw were all pictured back in first-team training. The news arrives as a significant boost to United, but it will come as a warning to Cristian Stellini and Spurs.
The two Premier League top-four rivals go head-to-head on Thursday, April 27 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and despite that key clash being just over a week away, the fortunes of United's season will likely be decided in the next seven days.
On Thursday, the Red Devils travel to Spain for the second leg of their Europa League quarter-final against Sevilla and three days later they meet Brighton at Wembley in an FA Cup semi-final.
In the league table, United sit six points above Spurs with a game in hand, which will become two this weekend. Much like United's next two fixtures determining the success of their campaign, the same can certainly be said for Spurs.
This Sunday the Lilywhites take on Newcastle, who sit fourth above Spurs by three points, with the home clash against United coming four days later.
