Mason Mount has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United lately and an unpopular figure could be used in a player-plus-cash swap deal
Chelsea supporters have hilariously slammed Manchester United for reportedly including Harry Maguire as a makeweight in a potential deal to sign Mason Mount. The 24-year-old midfielder faces an increasingly uncertain future at Stamford Bridge, with his contract set to expire at the end of next season.
To fill the discrepancy, The Sun have said that the Red Devils could include Harry Maguire as part of a player-plus-cash swap deal. And, it's fair to say that Chelsea fans aren't best pleased with United's negotiation techniques.
So, with that being said, football.london has taken a look at some of the reaction to The Sun's report – aside from all the laughing emojis and expletives...
@cfcmo6 tweeted: "Taking it from £85m to £83m, nice business from united."
@CFCLethal tweeted: "Not Maguire links again I barely survived them the first time."
@SonOfDrug tweeted: "Joke of the century. Not even Bruno or Eriksson."
@TrevorMMA2234 tweeted: "I would honestly stop supporting Chelsea if we sign Maguire. It's all over for me if we do."
@iamdeejphatfeel tweeted: "Hahahaha, we will never need Maguire. You guys can keep him or offer him to Luton Town. Not for Chelsea unfortunately."
@dougie000272 tweeted: "No worries we’ll take Rashford and Martinez in exchange for Sarr and Ziyech then."
@flyasfvckk tweeted: "They think a fridge could be used in negotiations."
