Manchester United are signing Norwegian prospect Isak Hansen-Aaroen from Tromso on Saturday.

Hansen-Aaroen became Tromso’s youngest ever player when he appeared for their first team in July aged 15 years and 319 days. United agreed a deal to sign him last year and will formally confirm his arrival as he turns 16 this weekend.

The teenage forward has also had trials with Everton and Liverpool prior to United agreeing terms as part of a longer term project with the Norwegian club.

Hansen-Aaroen will become the first Norwegian to sign for United since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was appointed as manager with the youngster expected to feature for the U18s this season.

Hansen-Aaroen made six substitute appearances for Tromso, who are top of the league in Norway, and has three caps for Norway U16s.

Tromso confirmed: ‘A wonderful person, a unique talent, who just loves to play football.

'From Flora to TIL as a junior, into the academy as a 10-year-old, learns at the TIL school and debut for the first team as as 15-year-old and assist in his last match for Tromso.

‘Thank you so much for the last 10 years and good luck in Manchester United and on in your career. We hope you have a great time.’
