The surf was definitely up for one steward at Old Trafford during Tuesday night's Champions League game.

The Beach Boys sang about everybody surfing when given the chance in Surfin' USA and one steward got swept up, whether he wanted to or not, during PSG's thumping win at Manchester United.

The French fans were clearly delighted at their side's performance and the steward got caught up in it.

Video has emerged from the PSG away end on Tuesday evening with fans holding the steward aloft.

They also carried him through the section as they celebrated their gripping 2-0 win in the first-leg game.

The French champions put together a brilliant performance, with their first goal coming courtesy of a corner from Angel Di Maria that was headed in by Presnel Kimpembe.

Kylian Mbappe then doubled their lead after latching onto the end of a Di Maria cross.

The youngster insisted he had never worried about his side losing, despite the injury crisis they have dealt with in recent weeks.

'People have to stop selling fear and being afraid,' said Mbappe.

'Of course, Neymar is super-important and Cavani is fundamental, but football gets played on the pitch. We showed that tonight. Don't be afraid: we're good.'
