Man Utd transfer target's agent hints at club move for Spain under-21 star

The agent of Spain under-21 star Dani Olmo says that his client would fit in at Manchester United as the Red Devils contemplate a bid for the 21-year-old.

While that, of course, is not all that surprising given that it is Andyja Baru's job to drum up interest in Dinamo Zagreb winger, it is interesting that United were the only club he mentioned when discussing the transfer interest in one of the stars of the European Under-21 Championships this summer.

Olmo scored three goals at the tournament in Italy, including the crucial strike in the 2-1 victory over Germany in the final in Udine on Sunday, in which he was named the man-of-the-match.

That followed on from 12 goals and nine assists for Dinamo Zagreb in the Croatian top-flight last season, having moved there from Barcelona in 2014.

He made his senior debut for the club at the age of 16, and has since gone on to make over 100 appearances despite his tender age.

That has led to interest from several clubs in Europe's bigger leagues, but Baru only acknowledged interest from United when he discussed the young wingers next move.

“At this point I can’t comment on it!” Baru told Sportske Novosti.

“Serious talks start from today, ultimately decided by Dinamo and Olmo, of course.

“I send all interested clubs to Dinamo and when the clubs agree a fee, I will come to agree on the conditions for Dani.

“Dani can play for any club as he has already showed this at the Euro U21s.

"When we are talking about Manchester United , they have no such player as Olmo.”
