Man Utd's 'staggering wage offer' to Rabiot in bid to beat Juventus to PSG man

Adrien Rabiot has been offered a staggering £170,000-a-week to join Manchester United this summer, according to reports.

PSG outcast Rabiot will leave the French champions on a free transfer this summer with a host of big name suitors.

As well as United, Tottenham and Juventus are said to be interested in landing the 24-year-old midfielder.

But Rabiot might find it hard to turn down the huge wages on offer at United - with a cushy signing on fee also reportedly on the table.

Reports in France claim that Rabiot has been offered an annual wage of €10million (£8.86million).

That equates to £170,000-a-week, which would make him one of the highest-paid players at United.

However, there are still six stars who would earn an even bigger wage, should they remain at the club for the coming season.

Alexis Sanchez is by far the highest-paid player in the squad, while Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial, David De Gea, Romelu Lukaku and Luke Shaw are all said to earn more than Rabiot's offer.

But if the wages were not enough to convince Rabiot to join United, Le10Sport claim that a signing on fee of €5million (£4.43million) has also been offered.

Rabiot now has to decide whether he wants to play in the Champions League with either Juventus or Tottenham next year, or if he wants the Europa League with United.

The French international becomes a free agent on July 1.
