Manchester City are recalling Morgan Rogers from his loan at Bournemouth as they ponder another loan to either Blackpool or Huddersfield.
The 19-year-old winger joined in the summer with view to making the move permanent, however, a lack of game time under manager Scott Parkerhas forced City into a re-think.
The 19-year-old has made 15 appearances in the Championship so far this season - though only once has he started a game.
He netted his first goal of his time at Bournemouth earlier this month during a 3-2 defeat Luton.
However, he has been left on the bench or out of the matchday squad on a number of occasions this season.
Rogers has caught the interest of both Blackpool and Huddersfield and City could look to send him on another loan to one of those Championship sides.
Meanwhile, French side Troyes have announced the signing of Luka Ilic from the reigning Premier League champions.
City signed the 22-year-old midfielder back in 2017 but has spent the entire time on separate loan deals away from the club.
After a one-year loan at Red Star Belgrade who City originally signed him from, he then spent two seasons at both NAC Breda and FC Twente.
City are said to have completed the signing of striker Julian Alvarez according to the River Plate president.
The 21-year-old is being tipped as the brightest young talent in Argentina following his breakout season.
Alvarez has scored 19 goals in 33 league games this season as well as registering 18 assist
City were rumoured to be closing in on the transfer earlier this month and now the River Plate president Jorge Brito has confirmed the 'deal is done' but he has been loaned back to the side until the summer.
'We've a full agreement with Manchester City to sell Julian. The deal is done,' Brito said according to Fabrizio Romano.
