What's been said?
Heading into this weekend's fixture with Leicester, Guardiola gave his thoughts on City's current form.
'We are the second most consistent team in the league. It is not bad at all; the problem is that Arsenal are amazing so far', Guardiola said at his pre-match press conference.
'Our points and performance are not a disaster. We are there because we've done many good things. But in sport when there is one better than you, you have to meet it and accept it, and keep going.'
The Spaniard also revealed that if they lose against Leicester, they will not win the league.
'If we lose games, we lose competitions. It is the same tomorrow. If we lose we will not be champion, if we win we can still be there. We are six points behind Arsenal; a team that plays one game a week and loses very few points. They have time to analyse games and recover; it is difficult to drop points.
'We have to be there as much as possible.'
As for the Foxes, the club appointed Dean Smith as manager until the end of the season.
At his pre-match press conference, Smith called for Maddison to help lead Leicester to Premier League survival, saying: ‘James is an excellent footballer. He held his hands up after making a mistake but the first thing I asked him was why he was coming so deep to get the ball.
‘The second thing I asked was why we had given him the ball when there was no forward pass for him to play.
‘He will learn and get better but he is our second-top goalscorer this season. He can be a big player but we have to get him into areas where he can hurt the opposition, similar to what we did with Jack at Villa.’

Prediction
With City looking to close the gap on league leaders Arsenal, Guardiola's men will be desperate to get all three points against Leicester.
The side come into the game in good form, and if the likes of Haaland and De Bruyne are firing from the off, it will be enough to earn City all three points.
As for the Foxes, Smith's side are struggling and have not won a game since February.
With the side currently sitting in 19th place in the league table, a lot needs to be done if they are to stay up. With that being said, it will be a huge ask to head to the Etihad and pick up all three points.
Prediction - 4-0 Manchester City
