Scott McTominay has left Manchester United supporters stunned after showing off his new, ripped physique ahead of the squad's return to pre-season training.
United's players are set to report back to their Carrington training ground on Monday ahead of their flight out to Thailand for the start of their tour on July 8.
The trip will mark their first foray into action under new boss Erik ten Hag, and his players will be desperate to cement their claim for regular minutes next season.
One of those is midfielder McTominay, who has proved a decisive figure at the club.
However, he has taken to social media to share a picture of himself during a late-night session alongside two friends, and social media users are impressed.
In the photo, McTominay is standing topless, showing off his rippling muscles.
His condition suggests he has spent time working hard on his physicality in recent weeks, an attribute that may see him remain a key player under Ten Hag.
He also shared another snap taken from the same session, showing him leaning down on one arm next to Callum Whelan, a former United academy product.
Reacting to his change in shape, one fan joked: 'Our players are training so that they could be included in the new Street Fighter game.'
'Looks like he's eaten [Cristiano] Ronaldo,' another user said, hilariously.
A third wrote: 'Absolute monster, looking like Zlatan [Ibrahimovic].'
Meanwhile, a fourth was less impressed, adding: 'If six packs won you trophies, United would have a quadruple.'
McTominay made 45 appearances for club and country last season, and remains an integral player to United despite criticism from supporters over his ability.
He will hope to defy his critics with his physique, and has already made extraordinary leaps to become Premier League-ready over the years.
Indeed, the midfielder was just 5ft 6in aged 18 at the start of 2015, and youth team coaches at United doubted whether he would make the grade at the very top.
He then went through a growth spurt, however, and now stands at 6ft 4in.
