Manchester United publicly advertised the women's team manager role on Friday afternoon despite awaiting news from the Football Association over their licence application.
The Red Devils are targeting a manager who can 'build a successful, winning first team' with the club harbouring big ambitions having finally made entry into the women's game.
Interested? Provided you are a Uefa A licence holder, and FA licensed coach with an impeccable track record, you can start dusting off the tried and tested covering letter.
'Manchester United’s application to join the second tier of the women’s game has created the possibility (if the application is approved by the FA) to become the first Head Coach of a professional women’s team in the club’s history,' the advert reads.
'A new Head Coach would be responsible, along with the General Manager of women’s football, for creating a culture that maximises the talent of each player, supporting our Development squad coaches and managing a team of staff.'
The application closes for prospective candidates on April 22 as the club target a high class appointment for United's first senior women's team.
On the advert itself there are more than 50 key responsibilities which shows the level of scrutiny applications will likely face.
The manager will be accountable to the club's 'Head of Women's Football' officer but the head coach is expected to manage the coaching set-up comprising of an assistant coach, a strength and conditioning coach, a goalkeeping coach and a physiotherapist.
News of the club's plans to enter the leagues were revealed in March after United were heavily criticised for a lack of involvement in the women's game.
But club bosses have taken huge strides to rectify that over the past few months and have shown they are not taking an appointment lightly with this lengthy job advertisement.
