Marcus Rashford has been recognised for his work in helping feed vulnerable children by men's monthly magazine GQ.
The Manchester United star features on the front cover for the winter issue, released next week, after he won the outlet's Campaigner of the Year award.
The England international forced the Government into a second U-turn in five months earlier this month as Prime Minister Boris Johnson agreed to fund an extra £400million of free school meals.
Rashford, who has been honoured with an MBE, has spearheaded efforts to ensure that vulnerable children are not left to go hungry amid the coronavirus pandemic and works closely alongside charity FareShare to help those in need.
'We're just at the beginning of it, really. We need to see how much we can keep improving things for everybody,' he told GQ.
'Child poverty and hunger is a problem that shouldn't exist at all and I'm just trying to bring as many people on board as possible so we can get better and better at dealing with it.'
'Nobody should be ashamed. Everyone's situations are different, upbringings are different, communities are different.
'Of course it would be much better if poverty didn't exist, but it does, and nobody should be ashamed of their situation.
'Kids should have the best chance possible from the day they're born, that's why this is one of the big things I want to work on, you know?'
The 23rd edition of the GQ Men Of The Year Awards took place on Thursday, with the event held entirely online amid Covid-19.
Rashford featured on Vogue's front cover for their September issue alongside British model Adwoa Aboah earlier this year.
The 22-year-old shared the 'surreal' photo with his social media followers after pushing the Government to backtrack on their free school meals policy.
