After Manchester City's 2-0 home victory over Wolves, new signing defender Guehi, who made his debut for the club in this match, spoke to Sky Sports.

From what I saw, you slotted into City’s defense almost seamlessly. How did it feel from your perspective today?
I was really happy today. You know, I’ve joined a team with so much experience, so many great players, and top-level coaches. And since I arrived at the club, everyone has made me feel incredibly welcome. So it’s been a good start, but there’s still a lot to learn and plenty of work ahead for the future.
How have you settled in?
It’s been fantastic. The whole experience has been great. Since I came to the club, as I said, everyone—fans, uh, staff, and players—has made me feel very welcome. So yes, it really couldn’t be better.
Mark, it’s Michael Dawson. Congratulations on the win and congratulations on your debut. Over the past several months, there’s been a lot of speculation about your future. Now that everything’s settled and you can look clearly toward the future, how happy are you right now?
Hey, Michael. Long time no see. Honestly, it’s been a long road—not just a few months, to be honest. It feels like years. And every two minutes, I’d turn on the TV and see my face, and I’m not really the kind of person who enjoys seeing myself on television. I already see myself in the mirror every day, so honestly, it gets old. But I’m really grateful to have such great people around me. Coming from a club like Crystal Palace, they protected me, kept me grounded, and gave me the chance to get to where I am today. So, you know, I’m truly thankful to everyone.
