Marcus Rashford is keen to remain at Manchester United and will train in the US in a bid to make a flying start under new manager Erik ten Hag, according to reports.

The out-of-form forward has struggled this season but despite being linked with a transfer away, he wants to stay and fight for his place at Old Trafford.

And as stated by the Telegraph, he will fly stateside for some intense warm-weather training in June to get his pre-season preparation off to the best possible start ahead of the 2022-23 campaign, the first with ten Hag as boss.

The England star endured the worst season of his career, disrupted by injuries and middling form, only scoring five goals in 32 appearances in all competitions.

The Red Devils finished sixth, 35 points behind rivals and champions Manchester City and without silverware for the fifth year running.

After often being passed over by interim boss Ralf Rangnick despite his return from injury, his future at the club has been in doubt, with German giants Bayern Munich thought to be among the clubs keeping an eye on his situation.

The 46-cap international, 24, was once again left out of Gareth Southgate's England squad for the Three Lions' four Nations League matches next month and will be targeting a return to the squad for the Qatar World Cup later this year.

He is thought to believe the best way to do that is to rediscover his fitness and form at his hometown club.

Elsewhere, Jesse Lingard, who will leave United when his contract expires next month, is reportedly attracting interest from West Ham and AC Milan as he also looks to resurrect his international career.
