Mason Mount has warned his Manchester United team-mates that they must make their comeback win at Crystal Palace count for something going forward if they are to finish in the Champions League spots this season.

Mount scored the match-winning goal at Selhurst Park to fire United up to seventh in the table, three points off Chelsea, who are third.
As happy as Mount was to get three points in south London, the former Chelsea midfielder is acutely aware that this has been a stop-start season for Ruben Amorim and Co so far.
'It's been up and down but I think we are in a lot better place, not just me personally but as a group, and we really need to kick on now and win more games,' Mount said.
'That's the most important thing now.
'A difficult result last game [vs Everton] but to come back and win today was massively important. Yeah, it's time to really kick on and shoot for those top four positions.'
While it was Mount who saved the day for United with a clever set-piece routine, Bruno Fernandes' deft lay-off almost caught him by surprise.
'I said to Bruno 'I'll roll it for you', and then he said 'no, you stay there',' Mount explained with a smile.
'Then I've said 'you shoot' because I thought, obviously the sun was difficult today and it was causing a bit of a problem. For us first half with long balls… and then yeah, I thought it would be difficult for Deano to see the ball in goal.
'Then he said 'no, you stay there' and then he rolled it. So you can see my reaction is a bit like… get on the end of it!'
United are quietly becoming very effective at set-piece goals, matching Arsenal's league-high 10 with their pair of free-kicks at Palace.
'I love being in those situations and you don't always get that many chances in a game, especially in the Premier League,' Mount added.
'So when that chance is there it's about taking that chance and hitting the target and at least making the keeper make a save.
'How big set pieces are in the game now… yeah, for me hitting the target I'm very buzzing to see it hit the back of the net and to score and most importantly get the three points for the team.'

Sunday lunchtime marked the first time in two years that Mount has completed 90 minutes and the first time since January 2023, when he was with Chelsea, that he has navigated an entire match in the Premier League.
While there have been injuries and, more recently, niggles holding him back, Amorim's confidence in the 26-year-old has been unwavering.
'It's important, especially this season because I've had a few niggles but nothing bad at all,' Mount said.
'I've felt good this season. I had a good pre-season under my belt and I've been working hard in training every week me but also as a group we've been at it.
'To get that 90 minutes under my belt is really positive and it's about recovery now and going to the next game so yeah for me personally I'm very happy with that.'
