Bayern Munich sporting director Max Eberl spoke about star striker Harry Kane on Saturday evening after the team's 2-1 victory over Mainz 05, saying it would be better for Kane to join up with England.
"I think it would be good for him to go to England now. First, it's important that he's involved in goals, because the player who provides the assist is as important as the one who scores. I think the past 14 days have been very emotional for Harry, and he's been through a lot. He won't be any less in demand there, because once he plays, he will break the record for most appearances for the England national team. But then he will return to being Kane, and when he comes back to us, he will still be the number 9 who scores goals."
