Mbappe's mum 'tells Real Madrid he will not sign new PSG deal'

Kylian Mbappe's mum and agent has opened the door for her son to seal a mega-money move to Real Madrid by telling the Spanish giants he will not sign a new deal at Paris Saint-Germain.

PSG are in a strong position as Mbappe still has two-and-a-half years left to run on his current Parc des Princes deal.

They may choose to cash in next summer though if one of his suitors can stump up his reported £342 million price-tag.

Sport are reporting from a rival source that Mbappe's mum, who acts as the striker's agent alongside his dad, has already opened dialogue with Real Madrid.

Zinedine Zidane would love to be able to bring his fellow countryman to the Santiago Bernabeu as he looks to rebuild a side that are on the decline.

Real Madrid are still relying on Karim Benzema, who turns 32 next month, while summer signing Luka Jovic has scored just one goal in 11 games since his £62m move from Eintracht Frankfurt.

Mbappe could lead a new wave of Galacticos with the likes of Gareth Bale, Isco and James Rodriguez likely to be moved on.

The former Monaco has been hampered by injury this season but he has still scored nine goals in 11 games for PSG.

Real Madrid would have to shatter the current world record fee of £198m, which PSG paid for Neymar in 2017, if they are to land their No 1 target.
