Arsenal supporters have joked Mikel Arteta won't ever guide the club to the Premier League title after the Gunners boss was spotted enjoying the lavishes of dining at Salt Bae's infamous luxury restaurant in Dubai.
Salt Bae - real name Nusret Gokce - sparked fury at the 2022 World Cup when he was spotted holding the tournament's famous trophy and pestering celebrating Argentina players on the pitch in Qatar at the time.
Gokce has shared a volatile relationship with football supporters since the incident, but that hasn't stopped Arteta from splashing out on a luxury meal while away on warm weather training.
Arsenal are currently in Dubai undertaking a break of warm weather training aimed at helping players recover quicker following the busy festive run of fixtures.
Arteta was filmed in a cringey exchange with the Turkish chef and entrepreneur who loves to celebrate the various celebrities that visit his establishments around the world.
The Spaniard was treated to a tableside experience by Gokce who cut a triple-digit steak in his trademark manner before lifting a piece of the prime meat into Arteta's mouth.
Arteta gladly eats the dangling steak on offer to him as the pair share an awkward exchange and some Arsenal supporters don't believe the meeting bodes well for the remainder of their season.
One questionable supporter posting on X, said: 'Am I the only one who finds this weird? A man opening his mouth to be fed like that. Arsenal, come get your gaffer!'
Another added: 'That restaurant experience for Arteta just cost more than buying Ivan Toney.'
A different comment criticising the interaction, read: 'Yeah we aren’t winning anything with this guy in charge.'
Arsenal are currently on a disappointing run of just one win in their previous five Premier League matches and having slipped to fourth in the league standings.
The club are expected to dip into the ongoing January transfer market with Brentford striker Ivan Toney a well-liked potential target for Arsenal supporters.
