Millwall are competing with Bristol City for Barnsley striker Kieffer Moore.
The Championship rivals are willing to offer £3million for the 6ft 5ins forward who scored 19 goals last season to help Barnsley claim promotion.
Moore, 26, has been training with the Wales national squad in Portugal this summer as Ryan Giggs considers him for their Euro Championship qualifiers.
Bristol City have been keen on Moore for some months but Millwall have stepped up interest after seeing Lee Gregory join Stoke City and Steve Morison join Shrewsbury Town.
Millwall have also agreed a deal for Bournemouth winger Conor Mahoney though there has been interest from Preston North End.
The latter have rejected a £6m offer from Norwich City for striker Callum Robinson.
