Arsenal star Granit Xhaka has finally got his wish to meet Bollywood legend Shah Rukh Khan - nearly three years after he posed alongside his waxwork!
The 53-year-old actor, nicknamed the 'King of Bollywood', was a special guest of Mesut Ozil at the Emirates on Monday for Arsenal's game against Newcastle.
After watching Unai Emery's side win 2-0, Khan was then introduced to both Ozil and Xhaka, and the latter is clearly a big fan of the actor.
Writing on Instagram, the Swiss international said: 'I love watching @iamsrk perform and I hope he enjoyed the performance @arsenal put on last night.
'An honour for me to finally meet one of my favourite actors... and for real this time.'
Xhaka's post comes nearly three years after he posed with Khan's waxwork back in October 2016.
In the aftermath of that snap, Khan replied on Twitter to Xhaka, writing: 'Let's do this real next time. Be healthy and play harder.'
The influential pair have now managed a real photo, which will have completed a near-perfect day for Xhaka following Arsenal's victory.
The Gunners leapfrogged rivals Tottenham with their win on Monday, moving themselves up into third place in the Premier League.
Xhaka did not play, though, after suffering a minor groin injury in training this week. He is hoping to return to face Everton at the weekend.
