Man United forward Romelu Lukaku has been revealed as one of the most offside players in the Premier League this season.
Sir Alex Ferguson once quipped of Pippo Inzaghi: “That lad must have been born offside.”
In that sense, United appear to have perhaps picked up their own version of the Juventus and Milan legend in Romelu Lukaku!
The United striker has had an inconsistent season since the World Cup and to add to his struggles, Lukaku has one of the Premier League's worst record when it comes to getting caught offside.
Lukaku has been pulled up for offside 17 times in the league so far this season, according to figures from whoscored.com.
Only Aleksandar Mitrovic (21 times), Chris Wood (19 times) and Alvaro Morata (18 times) have been caught offside more often.
However, in Lukaku's defence, he gets caught offside less frequently than all of those players.
