Morata & Roberto included in Spain squad under Enrique as Alba & Koke snubbed

  /  Cai

Luis Enrique has announced his first Spain squad as Alvaro Morata, Sergi Roberto & Marcos Alonso all included but Jordi Alba & Koke are snubbed.

Spain are looking to get back to winning ways having failed to go further than the last 16 in any of their last three major tournament appearances, most recently losing to hosts Russia on penalties at the World Cup.

That brought the curtain down on the international careers of World Cup-winners Andres Iniesta and Gerard Pique, with Luis Enrique tasked with promoting a lot of the country's talented youngsters into the senior ranks.

Enrique reveals his squad via a video:

Full Squad:

Goalkeepers: De Gea, Kepa, Pau.

Defenders: Carvajal, Ramos, Nacho, Azpilicueta, Albiol, Diego Llorente, Iñigo Martínez, Marcos Alonso, Gayá.

Midfielders: Busquets, Sergi Roberto, Saúl, Rodrigo, Thiago, Ceballos

Forwards: Isco, Asensio, Diego Costa, Morata, Suso, Rodrigo.
