Shkodran Mustafi has changed agents, sparking speculation the Arsenal defender is looking to secure a move in the January transfer window.
Mustafi has fallen down the pecking order at Arsenal , having played just three Premier League games, and has not been able to win back a first-place under new manager Mikel Arteta.
His new agents SBE Management confirmed on Twitter that the 27-year-old had joined them.
And while 'Arsenal, 'Gunners' and 'London' were all tagged in the tweet, it could well be that the German has changed his representatives in the hope of finding pastures new.
Arsenal's defensive problems are well documented, with the Gunners having conceded 30 Premier League goals this season - the joint highest amount of any team in the top half of the table, along with North London rivals Tottenham .
The Gunners have been linked with defenders such as RB Leipzig's Dayot Upamecano and Jerome Boateng of Bayern Munich.
And if Arsenal sign rearguard reinforcements as expected this month, Mustafi would find himself shunted even further out into the cold.
Mustafi is contracted to Arsenal until the end of next season.
