'My time here will come' - Leno unconcerned by lack of first-team action

Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno is not concerned by the lack of first-team action at the Emirates.

The Germany international moved to the Gunners from Bayer Leverkusen in a £20million deal this summer.

The 26-year-old agreed a five-year deal at Arsenal but is still waiting to make his Premier League debut.

Manager Unai Emery has opted for last season's No 1 Petr Cech in goal for the first three league games of the season.

'I am convinced that my change was the right decision,' Leno told Sport Bild.

'I'm not crazy. It may take a few weeks or months, but my time here will come.'

Speaking after the 2-0 defeat by Manchester City on the opening weekend, Emery insisted Leno would have to be patient, suggesting the elder of the two would be his first choice until given a reason to change his mind.

'Leno is starting with us, he is working very well and played very good in pre-season. He can wait [for] his moment,'  the Arsenal boss said.

'Petr Cech is doing very good. Today he played good also. He has experience of defending our goal.'
