Mykhailo Mudryk challenged a Chelsea fan to a 1v1 football match after being taunted online.
The Ukrainian winger has struggled to reach his potential since arriving at Stamford Bridge last January, with occasional flashes of brilliance interspaced with prolonged underwhelming spells.
In the midst of the club's continued struggles under Mauricio Pochettino one fan had clearly had enough with Mudryk's performances and sent the 23-year-old a private message on Instagram on Wednesday evening.
'What the f*** is going on w u?' The supporter asked.
'Did you forget how to play football? Something needs to change. Maybe do some 1-1 sessions. Every time you play we have 1 player less.'
Less than two hours after the Blues suffered yet another Premier League defeat on Sunday afternoon Mudryk responded to the angry DM, challenging the critic to 'come play 1-1 for £10,000'
The fan then told the former Shakhtar Donetsk star he would pay personally pay him money for every goal he scores, with Mudryk going on to reply asking if the fan is good at football.
The exchange was later posted by the fan, Fedor Sneaks, to his 129,000 followers on Instagram, with the caption 'I don't regret texting him this anymore. @Chelseafc we need answers.'
The 20-year-old, real name Fedor Makarov, runs a personal shopping business sourcing and supplying luxury clothing items to various stars, including multiple footballers.
Some of the players pictured alongside him on his Instagram include former Blues stars Kai Havertz, Timo Werner and Billy Gilmour.
