Napoli are very close to agreeing a deal to sign Kobbie Mainoo on loan as he is forced out by manager Ruben Amorim.

The 20-year-old ace tried to secure a loan switch in the final moments of the summer window, but a move never materialized. Earlier this week, reports stated that Napoli sporting director Giovanni Manna has been keeping a close eye on Mainoo as the Italian side plan a January move.
Now, Fichajes have reported that the Italian champions are “very close” to agreeing a deal to sign the England international on loan as he searches for game time, which he has not gotten under Amorim.
Napoli have previously signed Scott McTominay and Rasmus Hojlund from United, with the Danish striker scoring 4 goals in 6 appearances so far under manager Antonio Conte, who obviously sees value in Red Devils’ rejects.
Mainoo has made five appearances from the bench in the Premier League so far, and Amorim has reportedly told him that he may leave in January, as minutes won’t come anytime soon for the youngster.
The Mirror report that he has even switched his personal chef at home and enlisted a private coach during September's international break in a bid to elevate his performances. All signs point towards a January move, which can’t come soon enough for such a talented player who isn’t being given a chance under Amorim.
