Newcastle United did not miss an opportunity to take aim at their Tyne-Wear rivals following the release of the Netflix documentary 'Sunderland 'Til I Die'.
The show shines a light on the Black Cats' plight as they were relegated from the Championship last season.
And on Tuesday evening at the Stadium of Light, as Sunderland hosted Newcastle for a Checkatrade Trophy fixture, the 2,8000 travelling fans were in full voice as they sang: 'We saw you cry on Netflix.'

The Black Cats eventually won the battle in the North East 4-0, having fielded a strong team against an inexperienced Newcastle Under-21 outfit.
But the one-sided affair didn't dampen the spirits of the Magpies fans – indeed it spurred them on to take further aim at their opponents.
They reminded them of the 4-1 demolition at the Stadium of Light in Alan Shearer's last game in April 2006 and also sang 'We'll meet again' in a pointed effort to highlight the two divisions which currently separate the clubs.
Following back-to-back relegations, the Sunderland faithful finally have cause for some optimism.
Jack Ross's side are third in the League One standings, just one point behind Luton with a game in hand, and have their sights set on promotion back to the second tier.
