Former Chelsea and Atletico Madrid star Filipe Luis is the surprise favourite to become the next Blues boss after the sacking of Liam Rosenior on Wednesday.

Rosenior was dismissed just four months into a five-and-a-half year contract after a 3-0 defeat by Brighton condemned Chelsea to a fifth straight Premier League loss without scoring a goal.
Brazilian Luis, who made 26 appearances for the Blues in the 2014-15 season, leads Sky Bet's Chelsea manager for the first game of the 2026-27 season market.
Luis - whose last job came as manager of Flamengo in Brazil - is a 13/8 shot, with Andoni Iraola the 2/1 second favourite.
Bournemouth announced last week that Iraola would be leaving the club at the end of the season and he has been linked with a number of jobs, including in the Premier League and in Spain.
Ex-Chelsea and Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas, head coach at Italian side Como, is joint third favourite at 10/3.
Chelsea coach Calum McFarlane, appointed to succeed Rosenior on an interim basis until the end of the season, is also priced at 10/3. McFarlane also took temporary charge when Enzo Maresca left in January and oversaw a 1-1 draw at Manchester City.
Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner is 5/1, with the German leaving Selhurst Park in the summer, and ex-Barcelona manager Xavi is 15/2.
Other contenders include Fulham manager Marco Silva at 9/1 and Aston Villa boss Unai Emery at 14/1.
Former Chelsea star Frank Lampard is also a 14/1 shot having led Coventry to promotion to the Premier League for the first time in 25 years.
Chelsea said in a statement: 'As the club works to bring stability to the head coach position, we will undertake a process of self-reflection to make the right long-term appointment.'
