Next United manager odds: Who is the favourite to replace Mourinho?

  /  autty

Manchester United are still waiting to confirm who their next permanent manager will be.

After sacking Jose Mourinho is December, club legend Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was appointed on a temporary basis with the aim of appointing a permanent successor at the end of the season.

While the appointment of Solskjaer was met with little derision from fans given his links to the club, it was expected that the club would go for a bigger name in the summer.

However, the 'Baby Faced Assassin' has forced his way into the reckoning with eight consecutive wins on the spin in all competitions – including victories over Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

With the players seemingly much happier now than under Mourinho and with excellent results and performances to boot, Solskjaer is certainly doing all he can to put his name into consideration.

But just who is the favourite now to take over at Old Trafford on a full-time basis?
