Official news: Arsenal will play a friendly match against Girona in Spain on August 1.
Arsenal has officially confirmed that the men's first team will play their first pre-season friendly of the 2026-27 season in Spain against Girona.
As part of their pre-season preparations, Arsenal will face La Liga side Girona on August 1, with kick-off at 8 PM local time. The match will be played at Estadi Montilivi. Arsenal last played there in January 2025 in the Champions League, also against Girona.
Following the match in Girona, the men's first team will travel to Dublin. As previously announced, Arsenal will play Real Betis at the Aviva Stadium on August 5, with kick-off at 7:30 PM local time.
After the trip to Dublin, the team will return to London to continue preparations for the new Premier League season. The first fixture of the new Premier League season will be on August 21, with Arsenal hosting Coventry at home.
