FC Barcelona have signed Ludovit Reis from FC Groningen. The midfielder signs for the next three seasons, with an option of a further two. Reis, who will join Barcelona B at first, has a 100 million euros release clause.
At just 18 years of age, a highly-rated talent is now set to join star-studded ranks at Camp Nou.
He is a product of Groningen’s academy system and made his senior debut for the club in September 2017. In the last two seasons, he has played a total of 50 official matches with FC Groningen's first team.
The Dutch midfielder spent yesterday afternoon doing medical tests at the medical services of Barcelona.
The cost of the deal is 3.25m euros. The signing of the contract was also attended by Josep Segura, soccer sports manager, and those responsible for professional football, José Mari Bakero, and Guillermo Amor.
