Fiorentina have officially announced the return of Borja Valero from Inter.
The Viola have brought back the ‘Mayor of Florence’, which was his nickname during the first sting at the Artemio Franchi, after three years at San Siro.
“Fiorentina announce that they have registered the player Borja Valero Iglesias,” the club wrote in a statement.
“The Spanish player returns to Florence after three seasons at Inter, making 100 performances, scoring five goals.”
The veteran, who spent five seasons in Toscana between 2012 and 2017, will wear No6 in his second stint with the club.
