On July 15 – Everton officially announced the signing of goalkeeper Mark Travers from Bournemouth, with a contract running until 2029.

Everton is delighted to confirm the signing of goalkeeper Mark Travers, who has put pen to paper on a four-year deal until the end of June 2029. The transfer fee has not been disclosed.
The 26-year-old Republic of Ireland international arrives at Goodison Park from Bournemouth, where he spent nine years since 2016. Travers made 82 appearances for Bournemouth during his tenure, with loan spells at Swindon Town, Stoke City, and Middlesbrough. He featured as Middlesbrough’s first-choice goalkeeper in the second half of the 2024/25 season, making 20 Championship appearances.
At international level, the native of Maynooth, County Kildare, earned his first Republic of Ireland cap in September 2019 and has since made 4 senior appearances.
After completing his move, Travers told Everton TV: "I’m extremely proud and excited to be an Everton player. From the moment I arrived, you can feel the size of this club and its rich history. The fans, the new stadium, and the direction the club is heading in are all incredibly impressive.
