OFFICIAL: City to wear rain-inspired Third kit against Forest

According to Mancheter City Official news, the Citizens will wear their third kit, which was inspired by sunshine and rain, the two iconic elements people at Manchester City love.

Pep Guardiola’s men travel to the City Ground on Saturday 27 December for a 12:30 (UK) kick-off.

The hosts have enjoyed a steady revival under Sean Dyche, picking up 13 of their 18 Premier League points this season in the past two months since his appointment.

A tough assignment beckons ahead of them, but Manchester City know a win could move us top of the tree heading into 2026.

They will wear their Third kit for the tie, inspired by the Manchester rain, having recently sported it in the 3-0 win at Crystal Palace earlier in December.

In their last away fixture, an Erling Haaland brace and Phil Foden strike were enough for a deserved victory in South London against the Eagles.

A detailed all-over raindrop graphic covers the jersey and shorts, contrasted with vibrant neon green accents across the neck, shoulders and side panels.

It’s a fitting tribute to the city that we know and love, rain or shine.
