Dani Ceballos renews his Real Madrid contract until 2027, the deal has done!

The midfielder's previous deal had been set to expire but his new contract will run until 2027, as reported by the club's official website.

Ceballos hasn't always been a regular starter during his time at Real but he was heavily involved in the league towards the end of last season.

So far Ceballos has won eleven trophies with Real - two Champions Leagues, three Club World Cups, two European Super Cups, one LaLiga title, one Copa del Rey and two Spanish Super Cups.

After starting his career at Real Betis, he made the switch to Real Madrid in 2017.

Ceballos spent the 2019-20 and 2020-21 seasons on loan at Arsenal but despite a bright start he struggled for consistency in north London. He did, however, help the Gunners to win the FA Cup in 2020 and scored a stoppage time winner against Sheffield United in the quarter-finals.

In total he has made 120 appearances for Real and has scored six goals, while he has provided 12 assists.

Ceballos is the third Real player to sign a new contract with Carlo Ancelotti's team in as many days after Toni Kroos and Nacho both penned new one-year deals.

REAL MADRID OFFICIAL:

"Real Madrid C.F. and Dani Ceballos have agreed to extend the player's contract, which remains linked to the club until June 30, 2027."
