Mohamed Salah has been ruled out of Egypt's upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers after a recurrence of a previous ankle injury.
Egypt have been handed a major injury blow as Mohamed Salah has been ruled out of their 2021 African Cup of Nations qualifier against Kenya on Thursday, November 14.
An official statement reads: 'According to scans results Salah won't be able to play with Egypt during this international break.'
Salah has carried a niggly ankle injury that he sustained in the 2-1 win over Leicester City early last month after a clumsy challenge from Hamza Choudhury.
