Vasilije Adzic, a Montenegrin born in 2006, is officially a new Juventus player. He has signed a contract until June 30, 2027, and will split his time between the First Team and Next Gen.
Adzic has consistently advanced quickly through the ranks, progressing rapidly from season to season, or perhaps more accurately, month to month. In April 2022, he made his professional debut with Buducnost Podgorica and immediately found the net, becoming the second-youngest scorer in the history of Montenegro's top league.
In Montenegro, he won the top league (in the 2022/2023 season), playing a significant role with 23 appearances and 3 goals. Last season, he played 42 matches across all competitions, scoring 8 goals and providing 4 assists.
In the latest season, Vasilije also made his debut in European competitions with Buducnost Podgorica: he collected four appearances, two in the Champions League qualifiers and two in the Conference League qualifiers, recording one goal and one assist in a total of 86 minutes played in the Conference League.
His rise has earned him a spot in Montenegro's Under-21 national team, where he has already scored his first goal, following his progression through the Under-15 to Under-19 teams.
Now, he takes another significant step forward in his young career, one that sees him don the black and white of Juventus.
