Oxlade-Chamberlain, who returned from his long-term injury lay-off towards the end of the season, revealed how he now has to put a framed Robertson shirt in his living room alongside one of Lionel Messi's.
It is the result of Robertson's attacking prowess as he proved Oxlade-Chamberlain wrong with 11 Premier League assists, one more than his target.
In a video interview in which he did an amusing Lie Detector test on Liverpool's YouTube channel , Oxlade-Chamberlain said: "I do have a deal with him about assists!
"The deal was if he gets 10 Premier League assists [last] season I will get a framed Robertson shirt put up in my house next to Messi's.
"I'm in trouble boys, that's not something you want on your wall."
After missing almost all of last season due to injury, Oxlade-Chamberlain has been stepping up his preparations for the new season.
The former Arsenal midfielder has enlisted the help of celebrity trainer Nicky Holender to improve his physical condition as he aims to build on an impressive first season in a red shirt which was curtailed by injury.
