PSG and Leipzig interested in Lyon forward Bradley Barcola

Having struck an impressive partnership with Alexandre Lacazette in the second half of last season, Lyon’s young forward Bradley Barcola has caught the eye of several clubs in Ligue 1 and beyond.

Although he recently committed his future to his formative club, the French U21 international has remained the subject of interest from other clubs – not least with Lyon ostensibly needing to raise funds this summer through player sales in order to pass their hearing with French football’s financial watchdog, the DNCG.

According to Fabrizio Romano, both Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain and Bundesliga side RB Leipzig have shown an interest in signing the 20-year-old. Although a definite decision is yet to be made, Lyon are nevertheless hoping to hold on to Barcola. The forward has managed five goals and nine assists playing alongside his childhood hero this season, including the winner in a victory at the Parc des Princes against his potential future club.
