Paris Saint-Germain are hoping to complete the signings of Gonçalo Ramos (22) and Ousmane Dembélé (26) by the end of the week, according to Fabrizio Romano.

PSG activated the €50m release clause in Dembélé’s Barcelona contract this week. This gives PSG five days to negotiate more favourable payment terms with the Catalan club. Failing that, the release clause will be paid in one payment. As reported by Fabrice Hawkins, it is only a matter of time before the France international signs with Les Parisiens, and when he does so, he will put pen to paper on a five-year deal.

RMC Sport and Le Parisien reported on Wednesday that PSG were also on the verge of adding another reinforcement to their forward line. Harry Kane has long been a top target for Les Parisiens, but as their chances of signing the England captain faded, attention turned to Benfica’s Ramos.

According to media reporting in France, the Portuguese forward has already agreed personal terms with PSG. Romano adds that an agreement with Benfica is also close to being concluded. The deal is worth around €80m, including add-ons. Both Ramos and Dembélé will sign for PSG, and the former could undergo his medical in the coming days, with a view to completing both deals by the end of the week.
