According to El País Colombia, Paris Saint-Germain are interested in filling the incoming void left by the expected departure of Kylian Mbappé (25) with Liverpool’s Luis Díaz (27).
Díaz is having a purple patch with Liverpool as they rely on his embrace of the controlled chaos at the heart of manager Jürgen Klopp’s system to fuel their ongoing search for their first league title since 2020.
The winger has excelled this season but with Klopp set to step down at the end of the season, there remain some questions over whether Díaz may look to continue his stay at the club once a new project begins.
PSG are thought to be admirers of the winger and may be tempted to try and prize the Colombian away from Liverpool with the offer of raising money for the next Liverpool manager to be better able to shape the squad in their own image or to renew the contracts of Mohamed Salah (31) and Virgil Van Dijk (32).
However, they would face competition from Barcelona and AC Milan in their pursuit, with both European giants interested in adding Díaz to their attacks.
