Paris Saint-Germain and their new boss Mauricio Pochettino want to turn Moise Kean's loan into a permanent move worth around £31million, it has been reported.

The Everton forward, who struggled on Merseyside after arriving from Juventus in August 2019, has been in fine form for the French champions this season, and ex-Spurs boss Pochettino is keen to make him his first permanent signing.

Sky Sports report that Everton are willing to speak to PSG about a potential deal, but will only pursue it if they can at least recoup the £27m they paid Juventus.

The 20-year-old Italian has thrived playing alongside the likes of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe at the Parc des Princes, after struggling to make much of an impact at Goodison Park last year.

In his only full season with the Toffees, he scored four goals in 37 appearances, despite much hype when he arrived from Serie A.

Speaking last month about his time at PSG, and playing with two of the best players in world football, he said: 'I have the opportunity to learn a lot from them.

'They are two of the greatest players in the world. I am very happy to play with them. I learn a lot from these leaders.'

Pochettino was appointed PSG boss on Saturday and took his first training session with his new team on Sunday.

He is set to manage his first game against Saint-Etienne on Wednesday, sitting in the dugout almost two decades after he played for the club on the pitch.
