Paris Saint-Germain have lodged an initial £54million offer to Lazio for midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, according to reports.
Following their Champions League final heartbreak, PSG are desperate to strengthen in their bid to go one step further next season and are looking to act quickly in the transfer market.
And according to Corriere della Sera, the Ligue 1 giants have approached Lazio with an initial offer for their star midfielder.
However, the report claims the £54m bid is not enough for Lazio president Claudio Lotito but could be enough to begin negotiations between the clubs.
Lazio have reportedly pledged to Milinkovic-Savic that he can depart the Stadio Olimpico if the right offer comes in for him.
The Serbia international is under contract at the Stadio Olimpico until 2024, and has previously attracted interest from the likes of Tottenham, Manchester United and Chelsea in the Premier League.
The 25-year-old moved to Lazio from Genk in 2015, and has impressed ever since as the complete midfielder with strength, stamina, good technique and an eye for goal.
In 206 appearances for Lazio, Milinkovic-Savic has scored 39 goals and produced 27 assists for his team-mates.
