Thomas Tuchel is hoping to reunite with Ousmane Dembele this summer by taking him to Paris Saint-Germain, reports in Spain have suggested.
Tuchel was appointed as manager of the Ligue 1 champions earlier this month, replacing now Arsenal boss Unai Emery at the Parc des Princes, and is looking to strengthen his new side this summer.
The 44-year-old is in the early phases of his take over of the Parisian club, but is already plotting his transfer business and according to Mundo Deportivo, Dembele is at the top of his list.
Tuchel could be interested in re-establishing his relationship with Dembele, who played under him during their time together at Borussia Dortmund between 2016 and 2017.
The Frenchman only has one season under his belt at Barcelona after making his £138million move to La Liga last summer, with much of his debut season marred by a thigh injury.
Upon his return in January, the mid-season arrival of Philippe Coutinho provided intense competition and he has since been in and out of the Barca side, and it could remain that way should a deal for Antoine Griezmann be agreed this summer.
His three goals in 17 league appearances suggest a fresh start is needed, and should his French colleague Griezmann make the switch to the Nou Camp, the Mundo report suggests Barca would be open to offers by PSG.
With Neymar's future in the French capital currently uncertain, with a move to Real Madrid looking more and more likely as the weeks progress, Dembele would be able to slot in and fill the space on the wing left by the world record signing.
The report also suggests that Sevilla are ready to admit defeat and allow central defender Clement Lenglet join Tuchel's Paris revolution.
Tuchel is tasked, like all that have come before him, with the challenge of taking PSG to the next level in Europe.
Much to the disgust of their owners, PSG haven't passed the quarter-final stage of the competition, crashing out to eventual champions Real in the last eight this season.
Tuchel has been brought in for his tactical approach to management, with the intentions of out-smarting their opponents rather than their usual all-or-nothing approach that has so far seen them fail in Europe's elite competition.
Therefore, his own touch is needed and Dembele and Lenglet could be just the beginning of a summer of change in the French capital.
