Former Manchester United defender Patrice Evra has hit out at Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side for their woeful first half display away to West Ham.
After a goal from Tomas Soucek put West Ham in the ascendancy, Manchester United went into the break a goal down.
Evra, who also played for West Ham, was hugely frustrated with the performance from Solskjaer's team.
The former left-back added that Jarrod Bowen was terrorising the visitors' defence.
Speaking on Sky Sports, Evra said: 'Same old story. Declan Rice is bullying van de Beek. Bowen is terrorising all our defence. Sloppy passing, no tempo. Maybe they're going to win in the second half but this is not United.'
Manchester United have a habit of coming from behind to win games but Evra insisted that they cannot always rely on such a scenario occurring.
Evra stated that he was 'praying' for referee Andre Marriner to blow the whistle for half time.
He said: 'I was praying for the referee to blow the whistle for half time. West Ham are putting Manchester United under pressure. They will have a comeback but if you keep reacting sometimes it is going to be too late.'
Going into the game against West Ham, Manchester United had won their previous three Premier League matches.
However, many of their performances have been underwhelming and they produced an inept display in the first half on Saturday.
