Pedro Porro DEACTIVATES his Instagram and Twitter accounts after key error

  /  autty

Pedro Porro has deactivated both his Instagram and Twitter accounts.

The move comes on the back of the defender making a key error in Tottenham's defeat to Bournemouth on Saturday in the Premier League.

The full-back was dispossessed in the build-up to Matias Vina's opening goal of the game and struggled throughout the afternoon in north London.

He played the whole game as Tottenham once again suffered defeat in their bid to finish in the top four of the Premier League this season.

Porro has now deactivated both his accounts, on which he boasted over 100,000 followers combined.

Spurs were booed off at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday after conceding in the 95th minute to relegation-threatened Bournemouth.

Frustrations are growing around interim manager Cristian Stellini, who is seen to be implementing the same tactics that contributed to the sacking of former boss Antonio Conte.

Several players received stick from supporters at the game, perhaps none more so than defender Davinson Sanchez, who was jeered after being withdrawn 23 minutes after coming on as a substitute.

But Perro's decision to delete his social media accounts perhaps sends a message to supporters that not all in well in the Spurs camp.

The defender joined the club in January from Sporting but has found adapting to life in the Premier League difficult.

He is the club's only recognised right-wing-back with Emerson Royal injured and Djed Spence out on loan, and, though he has impressed going forward, the Spaniard has struggled defensively.

Tottenham find themselves fifth in the Premier League table, three points behind Manchester United in fourth but having played two games more.

They've taken just one win from their last four Premier League games and face top four rivals Newcastle next.
