Here we take a look at the possible changes Antonio Conte and Cristian Stellini could make to their Tottenham XI for the FA Cup fifth round clash against Sheffield United

The South Yorkshire club cannot be underestimated after a fine season in the Championship that has put them in a very good position to return to the top flight. Although enduring a bit of a stumble in February, Paul Heckingbottom's men did return to winning ways last Saturday with a 1-0 victory over Watford at Bramall Lane.

Tottenham were knocked out of the FA Cup at the same stage 12 months ago by Championship opposition and they will be intent on ensuring that they don't suffer a repeat of what happened against Middlesbrough. So what changes could Conte and Stellini make when it comes to their team to take on Sheffield United? football.london takes a look below.

We could see a change or two at the back in order to allow Sanchez and Tanganga to come into the XI. The duo have started both FA Cup games so far this campaign, with the Colombian wearing the captain's armband in the 3-0 win over Preston North End.

A defensive change would allow Eric Dier the chance to have a breather after a lot of football recently, with Cristian Romero possibly in contention for a rest as well. However, the Argentina international missed out at Leicester City through suspension and that may mean he starts on the right of the back three.

Wednesday's FA Cup game against Sheffield United seems like the perfect time to hand Porro his second Tottenham start. The Spaniard had a game to forget on his bow at Leicester City and he has had to patiently wait for a chance off the bench since then.

Perisic will come back in against Sheffield United and he must make an impression as Conte and Stellini could quite easily side with Davies to start at Wolves on Saturday.

Son will be another to be drafted into the Tottenham XI after dropping down to the bench in the West Ham and Chelsea wins. The South Korean did make a big impact off the bench in both, notably netting against the Hammers four minutes after his introduction and swinging in the corner that led to Harry Kane's strike against Chelsea.

Given the importance of the cup fixture with a place in the quarter-finals up for grabs, the Italian pair may want to start Kane to ensure they get the job done in Sheffield. As Son will likely start and Richarlison ideally needs to play again in order to build up his match fitness and get back to his best, Danjuma may indeed miss out.

Regardless of whether he starts or not, all will be hoping the Netherlands international gets a good chunk of playing time under his belt as he needs to be getting more than 20 minutes to show everyone at Tottenham what he is all about.
